The flask is really hot after casting at 900°F so I need to quench the flask which helps break up the investment and cools down the silver. I can then remove it and continue onto the next step. Many times in life we need a cool down a quenching of some sort that will allow us to slow down recalibrate and continue to move forward in a more kind, gentle way.
