Chirping Chipmunk. I heard persistent chirping near the front porch from what I thought was a bird. When I went to check it out, I found it was a Chipmunk making the noise. You may have to turn up the volume to hear it. Chipmunks chirp to warn of danger but also females chirp to attract a mate.
