Smart meters can help you to set, and stick to, an energy budget. Once you’ve chosen your budget and time period (for example, £20 per month), you can scroll through your display menu to find ‘Set Budget’ and then set your values using the touchscreen buttons. Tracking your energy usage is easy with a smart meter. You can scroll through how much energy you’ve used today, this week, this month or this year by pressing the Calendar button, seeing it in either pounds and pence or kWh. You can also use the forward and back arrows to compare how much energy you used in previous days or months, compared to today or this month.
