These three.. Bruce, Oscar and Mabel.. will soon be going for vet health check, microchipping etc . All vets wrap birds in a towel as a safe restraint while they are being anaesthetised. That can be terrifying for them so we desensitise them slowly prior. None of these 3 were worried.. this is day one.. next stage is to wrap them completely.. they won’t be going to the vet until all are fully comfortable being wrapped. Next stage is desensitising to the anaesthetic mask. They got this.. good kid

I knew it would only be a matter of time before Bruce discovered the tissue box moved faster than the perch across tiles !! Had I kept vid running.. he launched and flew across the room shortly after.. Oscar then followed suit and landed on the playmat! Miss Mabel was busy flapping and climbing the cage to see what the Greenwing kids were up to!😫🫣 I was so glad to see them put themselves into bed and I could close the cage doors.
